Miss Caressa Darlette Gill age 28, of Long Hollow Road, Trion, GA passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 in Emory Orthopedic and Spine Hospital. Miss Gill was born December 20, 1982 in Rome, GA. She was a member of the Trion Church of God of Prophecy.

Miss Gill was preceded in death by a nephew, Carter Allen Gill and grandfathers, Charles Jefferson Sweet and J. D. Gill.

Miss Gill is survived by her father and mother, Jason "Doug" and Vicky Sweet Gill of Trion, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Jesse and Nicole Gill of Cumming, GA and Adam Gill of Trion, GA; grandmother, Georgia Ann Sweet of Trion, GA; grandmother and step-grandfather, Helen Gill Williams and Kenneth Williams of Trion, Ga; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phil Minter officiating. Interment will follow in West Hill Cemetery.

Miss Gill will lie-in-state Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Erwin-Petitt Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Tony Ingle, Jeff Ford, Matt Ingle, Daniel Ford, Richard Forrester, and Marty Gill. Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of the Trion Church of God of Prophecy and the "spend the night buddies, all the Ford girls."
