Robert H. Stallcup was born on Oct. 27, 1887, at Pleasant Ridge, Missouri and he died on Dec. 13, 1960.
He spent his childhood in Missouri and later lived in Oregon and Washington.
He was married on Aug 6, 1923, to Nancy (Hoadley) Conger. They moved to Oakdale in 1937 and have resided there since.
Survivors are his widow, Nancy; a half sister, Mrs. Lena Jenkins, Riverside, Calif., and a half brother, Ansel Adams of Chicago, Ill.
