Services for Mrs. Frankie Haley Foster, age 86, of Downsville, LA will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Bethel Church, Downsville, LA. Officiating will be Bro. Laymond Tucker. Burial will follow in Mt. Nebo Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
Mrs. Foster was born on April 27, 1925 in Eudora, AR., and passed away on October 16, 2011 in Downsville, LA. She was a member of Bethel Church and during WWII was a telephone Operator in New Orleans.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Foster; sisters, Lena Elliott; and Helen Britton.
She is survived by her son, Mike Foster of New Orleans, LA; niece, Peggy Saffer of KY; and lifetime best friend Nancy Jones.
Pallbearers will be: Robbie James, Bruce Russell, Danny Frasier, Tig Gates, Anthony Yakaboski, and David Harris.
