The funeral for Loretta Elizabeth [Artmier] Hogue will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens Chapel in Medford.

Private interment will follow in Laurel Cemetery in Kirby.
Mrs. Hogue, 87, formerly of Medford, died Saturday (Feb. 14, 1998) of cancer at her daughter's Klamath Falls home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Klamath Hospice Inc., 437 Main Street, Klamath Falls, OR 97601, or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 698, Medford, OR 97501.
She was born Loretta Elizabeth Artmier on Sept. 26, 1910, in Greensburg, Indiana.

In 1933, near McCloud, California, she married Robert Valentine Hogue, who died in November of 1995. They lived in Medford for more than 30 years, moving to Klamath Falls in 1994.

A member of Nevita Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Central Point, was a past worthy matron of the chapter and royal matron of Roxy Ann Court, Order of the Amaranth, Medford. While in Alturas, California, she was deputy grand matron of OES.

She enjoyed cooking and sewing.

Survivors include a son, Robert A. [Hogue], Klamath Falls; two daughters, Mary [Hogue] Blodgett, Klamath Falls, and Shirley ([Hogue]) Wion, Burns; a sister, Mildred [Artmier] Marion, in Indiana; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Friends may pay their respects from 3 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Memory Gardens Chapel.
