Abcel was a member of Barracks
806. World War 1 Veterans.
He was also a member of
the Letter Carriers' Association
Survivors are his wife, the
former Elizabeth White, whom
he married Oct. 24, 1918; one
son, John E. Abeel. Amsterdam;
one sister, Mrs. Theodore Barrow,
Amsterdam, two brothers,
Clarence Abeel, Amsterdam,
and Kenneth Abeel, Scotia; six
grandchildren, one niece and
one nephew.
