Shelba Jean Allen -EASTMAN - Shelba Jean Hickman Allen, age 66, of Eastman, died Saturday, May 12, 2007. -Funeral services are scheduled for 2P.M. Monday, May 14 in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with interment in Taylor-New Union Cemetery. -Ms. Allen was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a retired Standard Candy Company employee, member of Eastside Baptist Church, daughter of the late W.C. Hickman and Myrtle Harrell Hickman and widow of Felton Allen. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harrell Hickman, Travis Hickman and Randy Hickman. -Survivors: two sons, Tim Allen (Sonya) and Brian Allen; two sisters, Doris Kilgore and Pat Hill; five brothers, Carl Hickman, Wayne Hickman, Nicky Hickman, David Hickman and Hulon Hickman; grandson, Dakota Allen; two step-grandchildren, Elizabeth Thompson and Ben Grafton. -The family will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Sunday, May 13. -In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society or Eastside Baptist Church Building Fund. -Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home of Eastman has charge of arrangements.
