OFFERMAN - A. R. Daniels, 58, died Tuesday night in the Eare Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was a native of Hilliard, Florida, and a construction worker.
Mr. Daniels is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J.C. Todd of Bristol, Mrs. E.L. Burch, Mrs. Vesta Mae Powell, both of Screven, and Mrs. Woodrow Manuel, Sr., of Jacksonville, Fla.; eight sons, A.R. Daniels, Jr. of Screven, Arvie Daniels, Ronald Daniels, Calvin Daniels, Leston Daniels, Danny Daniels, Danny Daniels, Joseph Daniels, all of Jesup, and Bobby Daniels of Jaksonville, Fla.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.B. Daniels of Offerman; three sisters, Mrs. Louretha SLoan of Hagaman, N.Y., Mrs. Mae McClune of Denver, Colorado, and Mrs. Priscilla Stephens of Offerman; four brothers, Leon Daniels, Edward Daniels, both of Offerman, H.B. Daniels, Jr. of Cumminggs, and Vernon Daniels of Hagaman, N.Y.; and thirty-one grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, in the Ritch Baptist Church with the Rev. Claude Bowen , teh Rev. Charles Knight, and the Rev. James Edmonson officiating.
Ative pallbearers were sons and nephews. Honorary pallbearers were Hamp Heath, Tracy Thornton, J.B. Eason, J.R. Eason, James Harris, George Ray, E.W. Roberson, and Lloyd Long.
Burial was in the Ritch Baptist hurch Cemetery under the direction of the Gordon-NeSmith-Harrison Funeral Home.
