Miss Kate Vaught, daughter of Frank Vaught, of Orange, died at her father's home on Tuesday of last week of quick consumption.

Clara, daughter, of Frank Vaught and wife, of Orange, was born on July 11, 1875, and died at her father's home on March 1, 1899. She was ill for several months with that fatal disease, consumption, but during all her suffering she was patient and uncomplaining and was resigned to the will of her Heavenly Father.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. D. V. Goudy at the Wesley chapel in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and friends who had assembled to pay their last tribute of respect to the dear deaprted.
The deceased was a faithful member of the M. E. church and was a refined, christian woman. She was of a cheerful, kindly dispotion and was loved by all who knew her. Besides a host of friends she left a father, mother, brother and five sisters to mourn her untimely death.
