Peter was a retired Police Officer for NYPD 10th Precinct. After his retirement from the NYPD, he was the Maintenance Superintendent for Rolling Hills Condominiums in South Blooming Grove. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during Vietnam.
Survivors include his daughters, Kathlyn Boland and Noreen Baisley and her husband Corey, brother Jerome Boland and his wife Diane, grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan and Kylie, and his companion Margaret Ann Fitzgerald. He was predeceased by two brothers, Michael and Robert.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush, Inc. Funeral Home, 117 Maple Avenue, Monroe. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 19th at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe. Interment will follow in Orange County Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen.
