Born March 4, 1937 in Rural Andrew County, John was a lifelong area resident.
John had been a hairdresser for many years. He owned and operated his own salon in Savannah and later worked in St. Joseph for many years.
He was a 1955 graduate of Savannah High School and a member of the Hyde Valley United Methodist Church in St. Joseph. Other memberships incle Savannah Lodge No. 71 AF&AM, Savannah; 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason; and Moila Temple Shrine. He was an avid league bowler and a member of the American Bowling Congress.
His parents, Frederick and Virginia (Gressly) Ueligger, preceded him in death.
John is survived by numerous cousins and a host of friends.
