Funeral services for A.J. Morgan, 59, of Rayville, LA were held 10:00 AM, Friday, August 26, 2011 at Boeuf River Baptist Church, Rayville, LA with Rev. David Herrington officiating. Interment followed in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery, Rayville, LA under the direction of Brown-Holley Funeral Home, Rayville.

A.J. was born August 27, 1951 and passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011.

Mr. Morgan was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church of Rayville and the Rayville Jaycees. He served 8 years in the Army Reserves. A.J. was preceded in death by his parents, Adron and Louise Morgan.

Survivors include his daughter, Anne Elizabeth Morgan and her mother, Carolyn Grantham of Rayville; brothers, Charlie Morgan and wife, Susan of Rayville, LA and Rex Morgan of Rayville, LA; special friend, Brandy McKenzie of Start; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Pete Mulhearn, Justin Mulhearn, Lawrence Wynn, Mike Silk, Gene Bradshaw, and John Mulhearn.
