David Earl Adams
David Earl Adams, age 68, passed on October 12, 2011 at his residence in Brownsville, with his loving wife also caregiver Frances, son Chris, dear friends Judy, and Mary and caring nurse Juan at his side. David won the battle of pancreatic cancer for 18 months. He fought to the very end. He was employed by IBM in 1968 until his retirement in 1993. David is survived by his wife, Frances; son, Chris; granddaughter, Therese; sisters, Thelma Alcorn and Nancy (Quintin) Ayrault; brothers, Dallas (Roberta) Adams and Neil (Cleo) Adams; sister-in-law, Sylvia (Ruben) Rodriguez; brothers-in-law, Paul John Longoria, Frank (Alexandra) Longoria and Richard (Mari) Longoria; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive guests for a time of visitation on Friday, October 21, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 The Worship Place in Sun City. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville.
