Funeral services will be held in Westside Believers Fellowship on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 9:30 A.M. for Nicholas Jimenez Barnachia, 27. Pastor Ron Griffith will officiate and burial will follow in the West Side District Cemetery. Nicholas was born in Bakersfield on January 3, 1984 and passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 15, 2011. He was raised and educated in Taft and graduated from Taft Union High School. Nicholas had been employed for the last five years by P.G.&E. as a transmission equipment operator. He enjoyed shooting, snowboarding, hanging with his friends and he loved the time he spent with his family and truly loved showing off his son, Jett. His survivors include his parents, John and Paula Barnachia; his siblings, Tamara Maxey, John Paul Barnachia and his wife, Kristy, Alex Barnachia and Matt Barnachia; Nicholas' fiancee, Mirissa; their 18 month son, Jett; his grandmothers, Billie Stover and June Rullamas; his nieces and nephews, David and Gillian Maxey, Regan and Allie Barnachia; many loving uncles, aunts and cousins and Mirissa's family, her father, Jerry Wright; her mother, Kelley Wright; her sisters, Ashley and Priscilla; her nieces, Reese and Paisley. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an account which has been set up for Nicholas' son, Jett, at Chevron Valley Credit Union.
