Cecil Leon Adair, age 81, of Belleville, AR died Sunday, August 31, 2003 at the
Dardanelle Hospital. He was born February 11, 1922 in the Riley Community, Yell
County, AR to the late William C. and Ola Mae Gibbs Adair. He was a member of
the Grace Chapel Nazarene Church in Danville and retired after fifteen years
with Arkansas Craft.
He was preceded in death by a son, D. L. Adair; a daughter, Linda Donnelly; four
grandchildren, Mark Adair, Larry Donnelly, Jr. Paige and Kimberley Donnelly.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Nell Clemons Adair; two sons, Loyd
Leon Adair of Natural Dam, AR, Rickey Don Adair of Dallas, TX; four daughters,
Betty Elliott and Pat Knight both of Belleville, AR, Carolyn Hummer of Chickalah
Mountain, AR and Jane Horn of Danville, AR; one sister, Lois Clemons of
Springdale; 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
Services will be Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 10 a. m. at Moore's Chapel
Church in Waveland, AR with Pastor Steven King officiating. Interment will be in
Moore's Chapel Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, AR. Pallbearers
will be Todd and David Garner, Keith Wangler, Kevin and Mike Horn and Loyd and
