Mack Pinkelton officiating. Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home in Lewisburg was in charge of arrangements. #A native of Giles County, Mr. Tidwell was the son of the late Joe and Mable Pillar Tidwell. [Selvin (Tap) Tidwell, 63, died Sunday night in Merihil Health Care Center. "Graveside services were held Tudesday morning at 10:00 o'clock at the Lone Oak Cemetery by Rev. Mac Pinkelton. #A native of Giles County, he was the son of the late Joe Tidwell and Mable Pillar Tidwell and was a veteran of World War II. He was a supervisor with Abeco Die Casting of Lewisburg. #Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Virginia Baxter Tidwell of Lewisburg; one daughter, Mrs. Cathy Johns of Chapel Hill; three sons, Selvin Lee Tidwell, Jeffrey Tidwell and Barry Joe Tidwell all of Lewisburg; four sisters, Mrs. Mable Brown and Mrs. Lizzie Davis of Pulaski, Mrs. Lillian Ursiney of California and Mrs. Louise Michlick of Arkansas; four brothers, Sam Tidwell of Pulaski, Jimmy Tidwell of Huntsville, Alabama, Tootsie Tidwell of Franklin, Joe Tidwell of California; and eight grandchildren. #Bills-McGaugh & Floyd Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.]
