Mew Waterford--Clarence A Crider, Sr, 67, well-known resident of RD1, New Waterford, died of a heart condition at 9:30am Tuesday in Salem City Hospital after being a patient there one week

Born Sept 10, 1893, in Strasburg, Va, he was the son of Mr and Mrs Jeff Crider. In 1821 he married Mabel Esenwein, who survives. He was a member of the Christian Church of Strasburg. A molder at the Columbiana Pump Company before retiring, he served as a sergeant in the World War I.

Besides his wife, he is survived by Five daughter, Mrs Jess Hawkins, Mrs Marion Moser and Mrs Dale Mauch of Columbiana, Mrs Robert Chellis of Leetonia and Mrs Bruce Coy of Greenford: two sons, Daniel of Leetonia and Clarence, Jr of Columbiana: 18 grandchildren; two brothers, William of Washingtonville and Harry of Columbiana; and one sister, Mrs. Ola Wilson of Leban, Va.

Services will be conducted at 2pm thursday at the Warrick Funeral Home in Columbiana with Rev. Harold Theidt of Grace Reformed Church officiating. Burial will e in Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call tonight at the funeral home.
