Betty worked as a secretary for an attorney, J. Clark Anderson, in Hardin, Illinois. Stub was the co-owner of the H and A garage. He was associated with Joe Hurley at what was eventually known as Hurley Dodge in Hardin.
In the late fall of 1986, the Andersons celebrated their golden wedding anniversary with a dinner at Pere Marquette Park Lodge. At that time, their son lived in Santa Rosa, California, as did their 2 granddaughters.
Betty lived until 1998. She died 10 days before her 84th birthday. She was survived by her husband, Wilbur, who passed away in 2003.
