John B. Harmon who was born in Portland, Maine December 29, 1815. He moved to St. Charles, Mo. in 1840 and to Illinois in 1847. Lived in Jersey, Greene and Calhoun counties. The latter he resided until his death March 6, 1883.
He had joined the M. E. Church and was an honored member.
He leaves his wife to mourn. He was laid to rest in the Hardin, Ill. Cemetery.
