Lucille Ellis was born at 5:30 A.M., 25 November 1913, at 1007 S. Massachusetts Street, Sedalia, Pettis county, Missouri. [SOURCE: Lucille's birth certificate]
She was the daughter of William Roy Ellis and Lucille Effie Greer Ellis. She always went by her middle name, Lucille.

The following is the obituary as printed in the Sedalia, Missouri newspaper at the time of her death, probably printed 1 Dec 1966.
"Mrs. Lucille Mahalovich, 53, Route 5, died at the Bothwell Hospital at 1:20 A.M., Thursday. She had been ill for the past six months and had been a patient at the hospital for the past two weeks.
She was born at Kansas City, MO, Nov. 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Roy and Effie Greer Ellis.
She was married at Sedalia, Nov. 25, 1936, to Frank Mahalovich. They were the parents of four children. A daughter, Janet Louise Mahalovich died at the age of six months.
Mr. and Mrs. Mahalovich lived at Fairmount, MO until 1946 when they came to Pettis County to make their home.
Mrs. Mahalovich was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Mahalovich; two sons, Frank Leroy Mahalovich, Route 5, Kenneth Arnold Mahalovich, of the home; one daughter Sylvia June Mahalovich of the home; her step-mother, Mrs. Vinnie Ellis, Kansas City; a half-sister, Mrs. June Landrith, Kansas City, two grandsons, Mark Mahalovich and Terry Mahalovich.
Funeral services will be held at the Ewing Funeral Home at 1 P.M. Saturday with the Rev. Walter P. Arnold officiating. Larry Owen sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "The Old Rugged Cross" accompanied by Mrs. Larry Owen at the organ. Pallbearers were: James L. Ramey, Irvin Phillips, Robert Ramey, Dale J. Rhoads, Oliver Dale Rhoads and J. W. Newland. Burial will be in the Hopewell Cemetery.
The body is at the Ewing Funeral Home."
