Son of John Quincy and Catherine Pearce Adams. Husband of Doretha "Dora" Rennaker, married 17 July 1890.

OBITUARY FOR WALTER GRANT ADAMS DIES IN ST. LOUIS:

  1. Walter Grant Adams, better known to his large circle of friends as Ollie, died at the Barnes hospital in St. Louis at 11 o'clock Tuesday night. He had been a patient at the St. Louis hospital about three weeks and was thought by relatives to be improving, and the news of his sudden death came as a distinct shock to them. Mr. Adams has not been in the best of health for some time past, but his condition was not thought to be so serious. He was a native of Shelby county and had spent his entire life in this section. He was born Sept. 7. 1869. and was therefore 57 years old at the time of his death. On July 17, 1890, he was married to Miss Dorothy Rennaker, who, with the ten children born to them, survives. The children are: Mrs. Alva Morris of Washington, Neb.; Harvey of Ft. Worth, Texas; Walter, Cecil, Floyd, Willis, Rolla, Clifford. Delva and Anna Grace all of Shelbyville. In addition to the above he leaves three brothers. John of Clarence, Charles of Viola. Kansas, and Henry of Higginsville. Mo., and one sister. Mrs. C. J. Hughes of Leonard.
