Obituary: Funeral services for Wilbert J. (Buck) Fettig, 67, of Petoskey, will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church. Fr. Wilbert Hegener, OFM, will officiate and interment will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Mr. Fettig died March 18 at University Hospital Burn Center in Ann Arbor. He was born in Petoskey on Nov. 16, 1914 and attended Petoskey schools. He graduated from Petoskey High School in 1930 and On June 22, 1938 was married to the former Mary E. Weimer in Petoskey. The couple have reiside her since that time. Mr. Fettig had been employed by the BonTon Bakery which later becam Michigan Bakeries, as a route salesmand and semi driver for 30 years, retiring in 1971. He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Marlin (Carol) Lamoreaux of Eastport, Mrs. David (Beverly) Gonzalez of Rockford, Mrs. Larry (Linda) Goethals of Petoskey and Mary Fettig of Petoskey; seven sons, Douglas, Kenneth, Tony, David, Thomas, Brian and Terry, all of Petoskey; several granchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Warren (Regina) Locke of Saginaw and Kathryn T. Fettig of Petoskey; on brother, Paul Fettig of Syracuse, N.Y.
