Oldest son of James B. Wiseman (1858-1911) and Mary O. Smith (1867-1930). He married his childhood sweetheart, Sarah Virginia Smith, in Lexie, Franklin County, Tennessee, on October 12, 1912. In the early 1920's, Marvin, Jennie, and family moved to North Little Rock where his step-father had arranged employment for him at the Missouri Pacific RR. He retired from the MoPac in the 1960's with over 40 years of service. Marvin and Jennie were members of the Little Rock Church of Christ.
