Married to actress May Baxter, Lincoln started his career as an accountant for Jesse L. Lasky in 1911. From there he worked with Douglas Fairbanks as his business manager and later as general manager for Marshall Neilan Productions for a period of five years. He also served as assistant manager to Metro studios. Baxter died of a heart attack.
