CARLSBAD--Services for Barbara Ann Munoz, 31, of Alamogordo, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at San Jose Catholic Church with Father Valentine Jankowski officiating. Burial will follow at Santa Catarina Cemetery.
Vigil will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Denton-Funchess Funeral Home.
Mrs. Munoz died Thursday, Jan. 15, 1998, at Gerald Champion Hospital in Alamogordo.
Denton-Funchess Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born Aug. 12, 1966, in Carlsbad to Luis M. and Concha Munoz. She was raised in Carlsbad and graduated from Carlsbad High School.
Ms. Munoz had been a nurse's aide at Lakeview Christian Home and was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. She moved to Alamogordo in 1994.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Concha Q. Ramirez in 1992.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Arredondo Sr. of the home; sons, Esai Raul Munoz and Steven Arredondo Jr., both of Carlsbad; daughter, Vanessa Q. Munoz of Carlsbad; father, Luis M. Munoz of Carlsbad; brother, Rudy Q. Munoz of Carlsbad; and sister, Benina Q. Renteria of Las Cruces.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Quintela, Ruben Cerna, Franky Jacquez, Albert Perez, John Paul Rodriquez and Ramon Rodriquez.
