Kathleen (Messerschmidt) Bleke, 79, has taken her stairway to heaven. Born on June 13, 1927, she went to her final resting place on February 15, 2007. Kathleen was a life long resident of Fort Wayne. A loving wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 56 years, one son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. May her soul rest in peace (God's speed). Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Rev. Dr. Frederick W. Meuter officiating. Calling is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Heartland Home Vol. Program or St. John's Lutheran School.
