Aged Jerome Man
Claimed by Death
JEROME, Aug. 26—Wi11iam R. Buckles, father of Vern and Jesse Buckles of Jerome, who would have been 90 years of age in September, died at the Vancouver, Wash., hospital Monday morning after a lingering illness. The body was received here by the Wiley funeral home where it rests pending word from relatives.
Mr. Buckles' wife preceded him in death several years ago.
He is survived, besides his two sons in Jerome, by five other children, Arthur Buckles of Wapato, Wash.; Mrs. D. B. Quick, of Vancouver; Mrs. Roy Mayfield, Buena Wash.; Mrs. Ora Logsdon, Toppenish, Wash., and Mrs. Alvie Broughton of Weiser. There are also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
