They had no children.
On his death, the barony of Herbert fell into abeyance between the descendants of his eldest sister. The abeyance was terminated in 2002 in favor of Henry's great nephew, David John Seyfried, who has since added Herbert to his surname.
Henry's other titles passed to a distant cousin, David Robert Somerset, who became the 11th duke.
