John F. Abbick, 64, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 1st, at the Saint Joseph Health Center. John was born November 13, 1945, in Topeka, Kansas, and was a lifelong Kansas City area resident. John served four years in the United States Air Force and presently worked as a freelance illustrator. He loved classical music and the cinema.

Survivors included his brother, Marion Abbick, DDS, of Milford, Kansas; his sister, Angela Jost, of Buffalo, New York; as well as his nieces and nephews.

Friends called on Monday morning at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas. followed by interment in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
