Services for Mrs. Millie M. Hutchens, 83 of Braggs, will be Wednesday at 10 A.M. in First Baptist Church of Braggs with the Rev. Gene Coolbaugh officiating. Burial will be in South Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Lescher Funeral Home of Muskogee.
Born January 27, 1900, in Franklin County, Ark., she died Saturday in Muskogee General Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Hutchens was a homemaker.
She married Selmar D. Hutchens in Franklin County, Ark. in 1918. They moved to Braggs in 1929. Two sons died earlier, James in 1980 and Glen in 1982 and a daughter, Shirley in 1946.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three sons, Elmer and Dewey, both of Braggs, and Curtis of Okay; three daughters, Lois Brooks of Okla. City, Wanda Irving of Braggs ad Betty Smallwood of Muskogee; a brother, Thurman Stapp, and a sister, Edith Stapp, both of Mulberry, Ark; 18 Grand-children; 18 Great-gradchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
