Mrs Eliza Elsey died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Vert Valentine, Friday, Funeral services were held at the home and burial will be beside her husband in Highland cemetery. Mrs Eliza Dyer Elsey was born September 16, 1844 in Miller Co., Mo., and was married to Tom Elsey in 1863 moving to Ozark in 1873. She was a member of the Methodist church and lived a life particularly marked by quite nobility and piety. Oh her seven childre, the four surviving are one son, T. Elsey, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Edward Witt, Los Angeles; Mrs. T J. Adams, Oklahoma City; and Mrs. Vert Valentine of Ozark. Two brothers of Fort Worth, Tex., also survives.
