His wife was Sarah (Dunham), born in NY about 1823 (Her parents were William & Sarah Dunham). Children Charles C, Emma (both born NY), & John E (born Wisc). 1880 census wife Sarah is living in Cato with son John & family. Her mother Sarah Dunham is also living with them, age 80.
1905 - Sarah, 83, is an inmate, hospital, Wisc Vet House, Farmington, Waupaca, Wisc.
1910 census - Wife Sarah, age 88, is living with son John's family in Clintonville Ward 1, Waupaca, Wisconsin. She had 3 births, and 1 child living.
