Zack Larson
The funeral of Zack Larson, a former resident of this vicinity, was held from Mount Auburn chapel Saturday and was attended by a large number of friends. Mr. Larson, who was about 63 years of age, died last week at Hays, on the Belknap Indian reservation, from apoplexy, and the body was brought here for burial. Mr. Larson was engaged in ranching on the Marias for several years, and was also employed from time to time as a roundup cook.

Old Timer Falls Dead at Hays Indian Fair, Buried at Fort Benton
Harlem, Sept. 4--Zack Larson, one of the old-timers of this section, dropped dead at Hays Thursday evening while watching the Indian dance at the fair. His body was found lying just outside the tent where the dancing was going on at 11 o'clock that night. The body was brought to Harlem and Saturday night shipped to Fort Benton for interment.
Mr. Larson had been making his home in Dodson of late and had gone to Hays with his family to take in the fair. Besides his wife he leaves a number of children, some of them grown. He was 63 years of age.
