Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Jamie Rebecca Sampley, age 86, of Summertown, GA on Monday, November 9,2009 at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA after a brief illness.
Graveside services are Thursday, November 12th, at 2 PM in the Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Scott Hudson officiating.
Pallbearers will be family members.
The family will receive friends at Durden-Hudson Funeral Home Thursday from 12 noon until service time.
Mrs. Sampley was a native of Childersburg, AL, a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliaries and was preceded in death by her parents, Blois Ray and Mildred Lucille Wilson Heath, her husband, Harry A. Sampley and daughters, Sandra Ernestine Harris and Joan Marie Cowart.
Survivor include:
One Daughter: Bonnie Sue Moseley: Summertown, GA
One Son: Thomas Ray Leslie of Ashville, AL
8 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren
