ELIZABETH EWALD

Mrs. Adolph Ewald, 73, a native of Manitowoc County residing on Route 1,
Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc
after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at St.
John Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Rev. A.T. Degner officiating. Burial
will be in the church cemetery.
The former Elizabeth Schramm was born in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids October 17,
1883, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Rietz Schramm. She was married to
- illegible--- and the couple always farmed in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids. Mrs.
Ewald was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Arman of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs.
Lester Schultz of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; three brothers, Henry of Austin, Minn., and
Louis and William of Rt. 1, Manitowoc and seven grandchildren. Friends may call
at Urbanek & Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc after 2p Monday until 10:30 am Tuesday
when the casket will be moved to the church where the body will lie in state until
the hour of service.
