The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the residence and at 2 o'clock from St. John's Evangelical church in the Town of Newton. The Rev. E. H. Kionka will officiate and burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mr. Hackmann was born in the city of Manitowoc April 20, 1854. He married Miss Aloisa Puls June 15, 1880. She died in 1924. The Hackmans resided in the town of Rapids for 59 years.
Survivors are two sons, Emil of Rapids and John of Centerville; three daughters, Mrs. Herman Schuette of Cleveland, Mrs. Clara Ewald of the Town of Cato and Mrs. Charles Kraase of the Town of Liberty; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The body will be removed to Emil Hackman residence Tuesday at 4 p.m.
