Gary Lee Peters, 14, of Irvona died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at his residence.
Born Aug. 10, 1989, in Clearfield, he was a son of Gary D. and Darlene (DeMelio) Peters of Irvona. He was a ninth-grade student at Moshannon Valley High School.
Gary was a member of Mt. Calvery Chapel, Mahaffery.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Brock Peters of Woodland; two sisters, Dane White of Geneva, Ohio, and Amy Sunderland of Clearfield; maternal grandmother Shirley (Hugill) DeMelio of New York; paternal grandparents Jack and Mae (Ireland) Hugill of New Washington and Mary Ireland of Clearfield.
Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and several nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Edward DeMelio; and great-grandfather Ira Hugill and Loris B. Ireland.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc., Irvona, with the Rev. David Brady officiating.
Interment will be at Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
