Jesse Burton Ashba, third son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ashba died Sunday evening, October 15, at 7:15 o’clock. He was born in Carroll county November 17, 1893, and spent his entire life in this immediate vicinity.
Monday, October 9th, he was kicked in the face by a mule while working on the Springboro bridge. The injury was very serious from the first. Blood poison set in about the middle of the week and lockjaw developed. He passed away Sunday night after suffering untold agony. His death is deeply mourned.
The funeral services were held at the Delphi Christian church Wednesday at 10:15 a. m. Interment was made the Zion Cemetery.
