Joint funeral services will be conducted for Harry D Medearis, 40, and his daughter, Harriet M Medearis, 17, at Bonham Brothers mortuary at 10 am., Tuesday. The Rev. Lewis E. Burgher will officiate. Interment will be at Glenn Abbey Memorial park.
Harriet who would have entered her senior year at Hoover High school in two weeks, died Wednesday. Her father died yesterday. Mr. Medearis had resided here for 11 years. He operated a garage at 4100 Taylor st. He was a World war veteran and a member of The Knights of Pythias Lodge at Lompoc.
Surviving Mr. Medearis are his wife, Mr. Dolly Medearis, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry L. Medearis and a brother, Dewey S. Medearis, Cambridge, Mass.
