Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder making his debut with the Boston Braves on April 12, 1916. For four seasons he played with the Boston Braves in 1916, Pittsburgh Pirates in 1917, New York Giants in 1918 and Boston Red Sox in 1919. He ended his career with a record of 201 hits, 3 homeruns, 73 runs batted in and .257 batting average. While in the Western Minor Leagues playing for the Wichita Jobbers, Wilhoit posted the longest hitting streak in baseball history with 69 games and a .515 batting average.
