Donald R. Staten of Springport went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 17, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in 1938 to Benjamin and Sarah Staten in Williamson, West Virginia. In September of 1982 he married Phyllis Tackett who survives.
Donald was a Foreman at Hayes Albion for 40 years. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Albion, he enjoyed the out of doors, gardening, hunting and especially his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Frank Mances, son James Steven Staten and a
daughter Donna Staten.
Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens.
