"IN MEMORY
In memory of little Katie Geneva Scott who left us to join the angels April 29, 1917:
Her face is not forgotten,
Her voice is ringing still,
She is happy with the angels
But leaves a place no one can fill.
Her face and form are missing.
Memories are just as fresh today,
For our hearts have not ceased aching
Since the hour she passed away.
In our dreams we still can see her,
Blue eyes shining bright,
We should not be broken hearted
What God does we know is right.
Yet again we hope to meet her
And in heaven with joy to greet her.
Where no farewell tears are shed."
