Cody M. Adams, 63, entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of October 27, 2011, at a family residence in North Charleston. Cody was born in Charleston on February 1, 1948. He was the son of the late Hubert H. Adams and Alma Simmons Adams. He is survived by one son John (Angela) Adams of Ladson, and four grandchildren. Two brothers, Robert H.(Bliss) Adams of Bonneau, and Bruce L.(Mary Frances) Adams of Summerville. Cody was a life time resident of the Deer Park Area. He attended R.B. Stall High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army. He served his Country in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1969 when he served two tours of duty in Vietnam. He was an avid collector of Western, Confederate and Vietnam memorabilia. He enjoyed his pets and talking with friends and neighbors. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Heart Association 409 King Street, Suite 300, Charleston, SC 29403. Funeral Arraingments have been Entrusted to the care of Carolina Memorial Home, North Charleston.
