John Wiser was born to Casper Ferdinand and Ursula Wiser. He married Luella M. Jodoin on June 20th (yr. unknown). A beautiful church wedding was celebrated Wednesday morning, June 20th. Mr. John L. Wiser, of East Toledo, being united to Miss Luella M. Jodoin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldric Jodoin of 1555 Woodland Avenue. Miss Louise Wiser, the groom's sister was bridesmaid and Mr. Joseph Jodoin acted as best man. The bride wore a pretty gown of white silk mousseline, with tulle veil and bouquet of bride's roses. The bridesmaid was becomingly attired in Alice blue silk and carried pink carnations. After the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the bride's home, only the nearest relatives being present. Mr. & Mrs. Wiser left for an eastern trip of several weeks, the bride traveling in an Alice blue silk costume, with hat to match. After July 15th they will be at home at 337 Fourth St. From John's obituary: Official of Toledo Grain Concern dies. John L. Wiser, 42, vice president of the Raymond P. Lipe Co., died in his home, 2836 Detroit Avenue at 6:00 A.M. Friday. Mr. Wiser was born in Toledo and had been with the Lipe Grain Company 18 years. Surviving him are his wife and three daughters. John and Luella had three daughters: Beatrice, Geneva and Helen. Geneva and Helen never married and lived in Baltimore, Maryland.
