Edith Mae Spivey Copas, age 84, of Goodlettsville, Tenn., passed away May 4, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted May 6 at the Forest Lawn Chapel with Bro. Johnny Carver officiating. Interment to follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Edith was born Sept. 7, 1924 in red Boiling Springs, Tenn. to the late Fred and Eliza Allen Spivey. She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Jim and Fred Spivey, Jr.; sisters Margaret, Willis and Christine Bell; daughter-in-law Jean Copas. .She is survived by her husband,daughter,sons, grandson and granddaughters; sisters.She was a past employee of the Nashville-Davidson County Metropolitan Schools, Managing Elementary Schools Cafeteria at Old Center, Schwab and Stratton. A member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church, Madison.
