Mrs. August Burlo, 72, 519 12th Avenue, died at 7:40 Monday evening in a local hospital after a long illness.
Born in DePere Jan. 13, 1874, Mrs. Burlo was the former Marceline Gerard. She was married Sept. 13, 1892 in SS. Peter and Paul's church, Sevastopol, and lived in Egg Harbor until moving to Green Bay in 1920. The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1942.
Survivors included her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Simon (Elizabeth), Sturgeon Bay; and Mrs. Mary Bonville, Green Bay; five sons, Fred, Milwaukee; William and Charles, both of Chicago; Edward, Green Bay; and Clarence, Wakefield, Mich.; 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Londo and Mrs. Exer DesJardin, both of Sturgeon Bay.

Mrs. August Burlo, 72, died in a Green Bay hospital Monday evening after a long illness. Funeral services will be held this Friday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's church in Green Bay, and burial will be in Fort Howard cemetery.
Mrs. Burlo, the former Marceline Gerard, was born in DePere Jan. 13, 1874. She spent much of her life in this city and Egg Harbor and was married Sept. 13, 1892, to Mr. Burlo in the church of SS. Peter and Paul of Institute. The couple moved to Green Bay in 1920 and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary three years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Burlo are the husband; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Elizabeth) Simon of this city and Mrs. Mary Bonville of Green Bay; five sons, Fred of Milwaukee, William and Charles of Chicago; Edward of Green Bay and Clarence of Wakefield, Mich.; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Londo and Mrs. Exor DeJardin of Sturgeon Bay, and three brothers, August, Henry and Louis Gerard.
