Mathews - Mrs. Bettie Jane Grubb, 68, of Hudgins, passed away at her residence on Sunday, June 26. Mrs. Grubb is survived by her husband, Milton T. Grubb, of Hudgins; six daughters, Mrs. Bessie Inman of Washington D.C., Mrs. Vermont Aldrich of North, Mrs. Mabel Perry of Elkhart, Ind., Mrs. Delia Martin of Osceola, Ind., Mrs. Elinor Eriksen of Foster, Miss Jane Grubb of Hudgins; four sons, Paul and John Grubb of Hudgins, Taylor Grubb of Ridhmond, Theron Grubb of Elkhart, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Flossie Deal of Hudgins; 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Mathews Baptist Church. Funeral services were held at Foster Funeral Home at Mathews, on Tuesday, June 28, at 1:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. L.W. Gill. Interment followed in Mathews Baptist Cemetery on Queen's Creek.

Pallbearers were W.M. Taylor, Bernard Hudgins, Frank Lewis, R.L. Blankenship, R.L. Foster, Jr., Guy Armistead, James Brewer and W.E. Aldrich, Sr.
