Hudgins - Effie Miles Hudgins, age 80, of Mathews, passed away Wednesday, in a Newport News hospital. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. John W. Grub, of Hudgins, Mrs. Alton T. Hudgins, of Hampton; two sisters, Mrs. B. H. Ames, of Norfolk, Mrs. frank Puch, of Mathews; one brother, G. Wray Miles, of Mathews; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, at 2 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, in Mathews. Burial will follow in H. C. Smither Cemetery, at Hudgins, Va.
