James N Chandler of 1050 Riverside died at 73 years of age of heart trouble. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. He was born in Lawrenceburg Indiana and came to Evansville with his parents as a child. He married Mayme Scantlin (daughter of the late James Scantlin) and was a traveling agent for the Railroad. He moved to Cincinnati and was a General Freight Agent for OM Railroad for 10 years, then moved back to Evansville where he was with the L&N Railroad. He is survived by daughters Mrs. Joseph Brown and Mrs Albert Cannan and a son Robert.
