She was born July 24, 1943, in Grand Rapids, Mich., and was a Chesterfield resident for about 30 years.
She loved to read and camp and spend time with her family.
She had been a nurse's aide for Rolling Hills Nursing Home for 26 years before retiring in 2004.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 47 years, Robert Bennett of Chesterfield, whom she married Aug. 18, 1962, in Allegan, Mich.; three children, Mike (Candy) Bennett of Chesterfield, Tony Bennett of Chesterfield and Debbie (Scott) Arnold of Anderson; sister, Pat Christman of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Nicholas (Tiffany) Bennett, Jason Arnold, Travis Bennett, Tyler Bennett, Patrick Bennett, Cameron Bennett and Courtney Bennett; two great-grandchildren, Gavin Bennett and Aubrey Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vern Leroy and Mae (Smith) Harris.Cremation will take place.
