LEXINGTON - Anna Mae Smith Culler, 84, of Sunbridge Nursing Home, formerly of Old Highway 52, died at 3:09 p.m. Sunday in Lexington Memorial Hospital after several years of declining health. Mrs. Culler was born April 30, 1918, in Richmond County to Richmond David Smith and Martha Frazier Smith. She graduated from Laurinburg School of Nursing in 1960 and retired in 1980 as an LPN for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. Her husband, Robie Grant Culler preceded her in death in 1982. A son, Canton C Culler; a great-grandchild, Morgan Fox; and two brothers, Grover Smith and Frazier Smith, also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a son, Allen Culler and wife Katy of Welcome, and a daughter-in-law, Pat B. Culler of Rockingham. Also surviving are grandchildren Jennifer C. Moser and husband Ken of Greensboro and Kimberly C. Fox and Brian Culler, both of Rockingham; four great-grandchildren, Hannah Moser, Autumn Moser, Kirsten Fox and Adam Fox; and a brother, Frank G. Smith of Ellerbe. The family received friends Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Rourk Presbyterian Church with the service at 2:30 p.m. Burial followed in Ellerbe City Cem-etery in Ellerbe.
